ProtoCap believes in a long-biased absolute return strategy to capture investment returns from emerging changes in internet technology. We use a fundamental thesis-driven approach to generate returns through liquid exposure to blockchain innovations with a global impact.
Our objective is to construct a diversified portfolio of liquid crypto assets within large and growing TAMs consisting primarily, but not exclusively, of liquid tokens, NFTs, crypto-related equities and other digital assets. A small allocation to illiquid or private assets exists for compelling opportunities that we believe have a 12-18 month path to liquidity.
We engage in active risk management through the use of short positions and derivatives, including perpetual futures, swaps, and options in order to adapt to different market cycles.
